a/c removal.
im removing the a/c on my car. i dont use it AT ALL, it works and everything but i always like to put my window down. the thing is i've never done this, so far i disconnected some hoses but now i dont know whether i need to remove the pulley from the engine and also if i need to do anything special when removing the heater with the fan. if you know how to go about this please let me know, its a 92 civic. will post pics in a min.

just cause u dont use it doesn't mean remove it lol why u doin this ? so u can get a all mighty 4hp its a waste....

u can remove the the belt for the a/c do not remove the crank pully just leave it empty without a a/c belt...

as far as the fan u can remove the a/c fan but dont remove the radiator fan obviously u need that

well i really dont care for the 4hp gain or whatever i just dont care about having an a/c, i dont use it, i dont see why i have to have it. plus it makes the engine bay look cleaner. so just remove the hoses, the heater and the pulley and thats it, nothing special or something like "you should have done this or that"?

well i actually just got done. it took me about 1 hour with no tools. the only thing i havent taken out is the pulley and the compressor, but ill do that tomorrow. pretty easy thing to do, maybe not practical but i did it for a purpose.
