sorry but I just found it easier to torque rod caps first and then torque down girdle. I believe either way works (of course, girdle has to be on if not, crank will fall when flipping block around lol) as long as everything is torqued down properly at the end. With that being said, here's the Girdle.

going by the book

torque in sequential order

after all said and done, here she is so far.

Brand New Oil Pump and Water Pump

D16y8 Block Seal/Gasket kit

Oil Pump already came with a new seal so we left that one out.
started to prep to install making sure all surfaces are cleaned up.

Same for the water pump.
prepped, seals and on she goes...

and this is what was holding us up to continue,
New Oil Pump and Water Pump are finally on.

New intake manifold gasket was put on and y8 automatic intake manifold was prepped...

Here's the Stock D15b7 intake manifold. Swapped everything over to y8 intake manifold..

drilled out y8 automatic intake manifold to work.
(couldn't find a 5spd y8 intake manifold so oh well)
Note: Drilled and Shaved on work table.
Blew out shavings and cleaned inside intake manifold before reinstalling.

We wanted to paint it but nah!

Picked up Flywheel from getting resurfaced and installed.
Torqued flywheel bolts to specs.
installed OEM clutch as well (sorry, no pics fail lol)
Torqued clutch pressure plate bolts to specs.
and transmission was installed..

And here she is so far!
