Default B20B swap!!!

Hey guys long time no see. well I am back on the game of building this beast lol. I just picked up a b20b engine and am pretty stoked about this build. I am just looking for a little guidance here. so I have the complete engine No trans, wire harness is all there i have the p28 converted chiped ecu. and dc headers. Now I know I need the mount kit to fit this engine in my Ej6? (i think correct me if im wrong here it has been a while for me on the honda lingo lol)96 civic dx coupe. Do i need different axels? and will my shifter linkage work?
I will post some pics shortly!

it's about time you came to the Dark side. Messing around with your y7 n sh!t lol.

everything you have in your engine bay, take it all off. You don't need the B20 engine harness either lol. Funny part about that is your y7 engine harness will work. You just need to convert the 3-wire IACV clip to a 2-wire and stretch out a few wires.

What you need to do to make it easier to understand is to Plan everything out.

We got the B20b
You got the header.

what intake manifold are you going to use?
what transmission are you going to use. Be ready to spend at least $350 on a Si or Gsr transmissioin

shift linkage will have to be for the transmission you get
axles and clutch as well.

motor mounts you can start off with them $100 ebay mounts if not, go with better ones. I have ebay mounts on mine for now.

and you will need to get lower torque mounts also cuz maaaaan you are going to feel real power now. No more little single cam

I say go B20vtec

It should. We were able to do mine in one week, and it only took that long because we happened to find a good deal on one and wanted to try it out. I'm damn happy with it. It is a z2 in a 94eh si with you average ls tranny and I have out performed a del sol ls vtec so far. I have dc's on mine, straight test pipe, apexi out w/a silencer and a walboro(sp?) fuel pump. Pulls hella hard and the tourqy b20 laughs at the weight of my hatch all the way to about 155mph.

I think what he means is the cheaper ebay mounts will work just fine, but they tend to have a lot more motor movement, like mine, the motor shakes a lot....but it is smooth from the driver's seat. But if you intend to have a lot of power, you need tighter ones. Just my guess
