Ah, okay, cool. Yeah, a lot of that stuff you can probably install yourself if you're handy and have a basic set of tools (stereo, interior parts, suspension, etc.). That should save you some money on installs...

I'd give them a call before you order to verify what you are getting. They seem to have a lot of stipulations for making purchases.

I think I've said this before on here, but you can find some hella good deals on E-Bay. Lots of reputable merchants have E-Bay stores, and those are usually some of the cheapest prices you'll find online. Half of the parts on my Integra came from E-Bay, but it was all NAME BRAND and it was all BRAND NEW (AEM, Tokico, etc.). Just make sure you're buying from E-Bay stores that look legit and have excellent customer satisfaction ratings (95% or better is what I look for, and most of them are more like 99% or 100%). I typically won't buy anything that's not brand name either.

If you choose to buy used from E-Bay though, or to buy from a store with crappy ratings, or to buy stuff that seems too good to be true (like a "JDM" header for $30 or a "brand new" turbo for $100), or a brand name that you've never heard of before, then don't be surprised if your awesome new parts turn out to be junk. These are the types of things that we refer to as "E-Bay brand", and that's where the bad reputation comes from.

You could sum it up as this: It's fine to buy shit from E-Bay, but PLEASE don't buy any "E-Bay shit"!

EDIT: I should also mention, the E-Bay stores that I buy from all use the "Buy it Now" option, meaning they don't have you bid, they just tell you what the price is, and you pay decide whether to pay it. Pretty much the same as buying from a non-E-Bay car parts site. The legit sellers use this because they are drop shippers and they're interested in selling in large quantities (just like the other parts websites). If an E-Bay seller wants you to bid on new parts, I would look for a different seller or website...

I dunno if I would try to piece together a kit if this is your very first turbo project. A full off-the-shelf kits (and preferably a name brand one) will run you a bit more, but it will make things much easier for you in the long run.

Just a thought...

EDIT: And just to clarify, when I say name brand name, I don't necessarily mean like a Greddy or A'pex kit. Greddy and A'pex do make kits, and one of those would be fine if you've got the dough to drop, but I'm meaning buy a complete kit from a company that has a good reputation for assembling and selling kits (Full-Race, turbokits.com, etc.). And stay far away from the no-name "full" turbo kits on E-Bay for $500, lol.

i pieced together my turbo kit, so it can be done. there will be more headaches, but if you have the right tools it wont be a problem to "make it work". the problem with a lot of the turbo kits is that you get parts you don't necessarily need or want. i suppose you could always sell the stuff you don't need/want.

Oh, it's possible for sure. Just need to research it really well...
