do you need a whole new exhaust? i would just pick up a muffler for like $100 or less. i was checkin out your profile.... i would pick up an ebay intake and header to clean up that engine bay. i think you should be able to get all 3 for around $350.

the idle probably has something to do with your Idle Air Control valves and is more likely a result of the warmer temperatures.

If i were you i'd spend the 350 on the exhaust. If it were a little more i'd say go for springs and shocks.

I say Hook up Your Engine. Look for some Headers and do Your Exhaust too.

You should look around on E-bay. They got packages for Headers and the whole Catback Exhaust System combos. They should be somewhere in the 300 range, shipped. Try typing in "header and catback exhaust" on the search box. I'm sure lots will turn up.

eh... i had a friend who bought one of those for his civic.... If you want the "bee-in-a-tincan" sound then go for it but they aren't the best sounding things in the world....

but this is definately the one im getting and its just a knock-off on ebay... sounds really good though
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SR-S-...em230237036569

and yes i know if you listen to the clips my car won't have the "rumble" the sti has because i don't have opposing cylinders

yea that's why i went for a name brand exhaust. custom piping or eBay exhaust generally give you that "bee in a tin can" sound. And trust me it gets annoying after a while.

Really? I got my whole Catback Exhaust set up from E-bay and mine sounded pretty decent. Got some deep tone. Not so "ricy" as they call it. I don't know. You be the judge. Here's what mine sounds like on a 92 Civic Hatch with Spoon Header and E-bay Intake:

does that have a resonator in the piping? that doesn't sound too bad, but it's pretty hard to tell from the sound clip.
