Default Can My Car Beat X Car in a Race?

By Prowler

There is absolutely no way of knowing without actually racing the cars on a drag strip.

Driver skill, elevation, weight to power ratios, and many more factors all have an affect on how fast your car is.

There are also many trim levels on cars that people do not know about. A "slow Galant" or "busted up Taurus" could easily beat you due to the VR4 4G63 power package in some of the early 90s Galants or the V6 Yamaha/V8 engines in some 90s Taurus's. You should attempt to avoid ignorance in judging how fast a car is.
