http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=203502

Its not hard to open up the headlights just a few mins in the oven and pry them open with a screwdriver. I did my own headlights on my 01 civic and it was real easy. I didint remove my amber reflector tho i wanted to go jdm style lol so i just blacked them out. You shouldent have a problem Gl

btw thats a DIY for 04-05 headlights but its pretty much the same thing and 7thgencivic.com is really helpfull to all 7thgen civics.

Ha nice i blacked mine out removed the amber piece then decided i wanted it back so i opened them up and put it back inside. The only hard time i had was getting 7443 Amber bulbs for my turn signals when i didint have the amber piece on. I think its illegal to have them white or blue i dont know really.

it's illegal to have them blue. They can be white, but you have to have an amber reflector. or they can be amber, without an amber reflector. ultimately, the color coming from your corners had better be amber or it's illegal.

I believe it is the law everywhere. Most cops won't pull you over for it though.

okay this topic ws a while back when i started it, but now m headlights r blacked out as well. NOW, if i replace the light bulbs with white signal lights but i keep the reflector on, how would the color look ? cuz i heard putting white corner lights + blacked out headlights = cleaner look
