Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit placement

okay, so now the sending unit has broken off for the 6th time, and its obviuosly just not gonna work in the stock sender tap.....so, is there anywhere else i can put the sender? is there somewhere i might even be able to tap into the block and put the sender? any thing.....suggestions PLEASE!!! thanks in advance.

if the threads are still good in the block you can use a ss line to relocate the unit to the firewall and that should keep it from breaking off. here is a how to thread: http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...ressure+sensor

wow, thank you SOOOO much Mike....glad tp know i'm not the only one been having that problem too!!! nice find man, i'll get right on it!!!!! and in case i havent mentioned, nice work on the lude man, comin along great. i'm currantly looking into swaping heads to accomodate a supercharger.lol, they make one for a lude as well, but still not an accord.

glad I could help ya out! definitley go for the head swap. I would say it makes a lot more power, but I haven't gotten to see how the lude pulls on the street yet. either way I'm sure you won't regret it.

the only reason we havent yet was for the sheer suprise factor of almost 3 liter engine under a 2.2l valve cover. the appearance was that of a stock engine..it was great. but the head wil only give a slight modification look, and if we're going witht he SC what difference will appearance make, right. so i think we might. still researching gains, etc. of course i will keep u all posted!!!
