Question Question about my intake resonator?

Hi, im new to this forum and i used the search option but i didnt find the answer for what i was looking for.
im currently driving a 2000 honda accord SE and im wondering would i get some HP if i cut a hole in my intake resonator? i dont mean taking it off but actually like cutting a big hole in the front of it. im thinking if i was going at a high enough speed it'd force more cold air in, right? or what do u guys think about this idea?

Honestly I don't think it's really worth your time. I would just pick up an E-Bay short ram and a nice K&N filter, or just add a nice K/N filter to your stock box...

unless you create some kind of ram air duct to pull air straight from the front grille, you will most likely get the same ambient air from under the hood. plus air flow will still be limited the OEM filter (if that's what you have). I would drop in a K&N filter or upgrade like 94accordex mentioned.
